Day 1 (D) Arrive Beijing
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel where you will meet your group and tour leader over welcome drinks.
After a tour briefing, spend the remainder of the day at your leisure. In the evening we'll feast upon
Beijing's most famous dish, "The Succulent Beijing Duck".
Stay at The Marco Polo Hotel or same class.
Day 2 (B, L, D) Tour The Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, See an Acrobatics Show.
Begin the day by visiting The Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors worshipped heaven and prayed for a good harvest. It is the largest temple complex remaining in China today. Next go to Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world and then onto the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden city. The complex of imperial palaces were home to Chinese emperors for the over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Some of the grand halls have been used as museums for fine collections of Chinese treasures and art. In the evening go and see a fantastic acrobatics show.
Day 3 (B, L, D) Tour The Great Wall, Summer Palace, then go evening Shopping at Wangfujing Street

The Great Wall
In the morning, go by coach to The Great Wall – the landmark of China and one of the most amazing feats of human labor. A popular Chinese saying goes: "He who hasn't been to the Great Wall is not a true man" therefore, everyone tries to make it. After lunch you will be driven to visit the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal family with a history of over 800 years. In the evening go shopping at Wangfujing Street. The street comes to life at night and is lit up with neon lights, souvenir stores, whole side streets full of food stalls, Chinese painting stores, and other goodies.
Day 4 (B, L, D) Fly to Xi'an, City tour
Today fly to Xi'an. After arriving, go on a city tour and visit the ancient city wall, one of few well-preserved ones on China.

Terracotta Warrior
Day 5 (B, L, D) Tour The Terracotta Warriors, Huaqing Spring, and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda
This exciting day of sightseeing will include the world famous Terracotta Warriors, Horses, and bronze chariots at the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (259 - 210 BC). Next visit the Huaqing Hot Springs, a natural scenic spot and former winter resort for Chinese emperors. End the day by visiting the Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. Legend says that one day a group of wild geese flew over and one dropped dead out of the sky. The local monks were at a loss and didn't know what to do. They concluded that the dead goose was actually a Buddha. They buried the goose and the pagoda was erected giving it the name "Big Wild Goose Pagoda".
Day 6 (B, L, D) Fly to Shanghai, Visit The Yu Garden & Bazaar, Jade Buddha temple, and Shanghai Old Town

Start the day by flying to the magnificent Shanghai and former "Paris of the East" which is once becoming the hottest city in Asia.
Next go and visit the Yu Garden (Garden of Leisurely Repose), one of the most renowned gardens in South China. After the garden
visit the Jade Buddha Temple housing 2 jade Buddhas brought back from Myanmar in 1882 by the Monk Huigen. More than 70 monks hold
daily services at the temple. End the day by visiting Shanghai old town.

Day 7 (B, L, D) Visit The Bund, The Xintiandi District, Nanjing Road.

In the morning visit The Bund and enjoy the grandeur of old Shanghai with it's european colonial architecture. This is where where the great trading houses and banks had their headquarters. Glance across the river and view the futuristic area of Pudong. Next stop at the Xintiandi(New Heaven Earth) District, a neighborhood of old stone buildings turned into boutiques, clubs, and restaurants which has become the trendiest new entertainment district in Shanghai. End the day with some shopping on Nanjing Road, the No. 1 shopping street in all of China.
