Day 1 (D) Arrive in Beijing

On arrival be met by our guide and transferred to your hotel. You will be free for the rest of the day and our guide will take you to have Beijing's most famous dish, "Beijing Duck".

Day 2 (B, L, D) Beijing - Visit The Great Wall and The Ming Tombs

Enjoy a full day excursion by coach to the Great Wall – the landmark of China and one of the most amazing feats of human labor. A popular Chinese saying goes: "He who hasn't been to the Great Wall is not a true man" therefore, everyone tries to make it. After lunch, a drive to the Ming Tombs along the Sacred Way with giant marble figures and animals guarding the tomb area for deceased emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644AD).

Day 3 (B, L, D) Beijing - Visit Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, and The Summer Palace

This morning, visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world and then to The Palace Museum also known as the Forbidden city. The complex of imperial palaces were home to the emperors for the over 500 years in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Some of the grand halls have been used as museums for fine collections of Chinese treasure and art. After lunch you will be driven to visit the Summer Palace, a former summer resort for the royal families with a history of over 800 years and take a boat ride on Lake Kunming. In the evening you will be treated to a delicious Beijing roasted duck dinner.

Day 4 (B, L, D) Beijing to Xi'an - Visit The Temple of Heaven, Tour the ancient city of Xi'an

Your sightseeing this morning is the Temple of Heaven, where the Ming and Qing emperors worshipped heaven and prayed for a good harvest. It is the largest temple complex remaining in China today. After lunch, take a two-hour flight to Xi'an, the great ancient capital and the eastern end of the Silk Road. Enjoy a tour of the ancient city wall, one of few well-preserved ones on China.

Day 5 (B, L, D) Xi'an - Visit The Terracotta Warriors and The Big Wild Goose Pagoda

This exciting day of sightseeing will include the world famous Terracotta Warriors, The Horses, and Bronze Chariots at the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shihuang. After lunch at a local restaurant visit The Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. Legend says that one day a group of wild geese flew over and one dropped dead out of the sky. The local monks were at a loss and didn't know what to do. They concluded that the dead goose was actually a Buddha. They buried the goose and the pagoda was erected giving it the name "Big Wild Goose Pagoda".
Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 6 (B, L, D) Xi'an to Shanghai - Visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Be at leisure up arrival in Shanghai

This morning, visit the Shaanxi Provincial Museum where you will discover how Xi'an became the cradle of Chinese culture. After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for a two- hour fight to Shanghai, the magnificent and former "Paris of the East" which is once becoming the hottest city in Asia. Enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure.

Day 7 (B, L, D) Shanghai - Visit the Yu Garden, The Bund, The Jade Buddha Temple, See an Acrobatics Show

Your sightseeing this morning features a visit to the Yu Garden (Garden of Leisurely Repose), one of the most renowned gardens in South China. Next take a tour of the old city area and then enjoy a stroll along the lively waterfront, known as the “Bund” with it's old style european architecture. After lunch visit the Jade Buddha Temple housing 2 jade Buddhas brought back from Myanmar in 1882 by the Monk Huigen. More than 70 monks hold daily services at the temple. In the evening enjoy an acrobatic show your after dinner.

Day 8 (B, L, D) Shanghai to Guilin - Shanghai Museum, Fly to Guilin

This morning, visit Shanghai Museum, one of the largest in China, which houses a collection of 120,000 pieces of cultural relics. After lunch, fly to Guilin, a city known for its beautiful landscape, spectacular pointed mountains, winding rivers, and limestone rocks formation. You are at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 9 (B, L, D) Guilin - Li River Cruise

Today enjoy a downstream cruise on the Lijiang River and be exposed to the indescribable beauty and scenery along the riverbanks. Lunch is served on board. Disembark at Yangshuo, a small town with many stalls selling traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Visit local markets before returning by coach to Guilin.

Day 10 (B, L, D) Guilin to Guangzhou - Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill, Fly to Guangzhou, city sightseeing

A city tour this morning includes descending into the most extraordinary scenery underground in the Reed Flute Cave. Later in the morning climb up the Fubo Hill for a panoramic view of the city. After lunch, take a one-hour flight to Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province and southern China's most dynamic and developed commercial center. City sightseeing features The Six Banyan Tree Temple and then see the city's free market.

Day 11 (B, L) Guangzhou to Hong Kong - Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall, Chen Family Ancestral Temple, Hong Kong by Jetfoil

This morning, tour the Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen and the Ancestral Temple of Chen Family. After lunch, be transferred to the wharf for your onward journey to Hong Kong by jetfoil.
